As a Prison Works Officer
- Electrician, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the Isle of Man Prison’s electrical systems safe, secure and fully operational. Using your technical expertise, you’ll carry out repairs, planned maintenance and testing while ensuring all work meets strict health, safety and security standards in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

This is more than a maintenance role. You’ll support and supervise prisoners working within the Works Department, helping them develop practical trade skills, instil positive work habits and prepare for a law‑abiding future. Working closely with colleagues and contractors, you’ll balance hands‑on electrical work with responsibility, structure and teamwork - every day genuinely makes a difference.
