The Company
A leading international renewable energy developer delivering large-scale projects across offshore wind, onshore wind, solar, and grid infrastructure throughout the UK and Europe.
The organisation is currently experiencing significant growth, with an expanding pipeline of complex projects delivered under NEC contracts
, creating the need for additional contractual support.
The Role:
An experienced Contract & Claims Manager is required to support project delivery by managing contractual processes and claims across multiple energy projects.
You will play a key role in ensuring NEC contract compliance
, managing formal communications, and mitigating contractual risk throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage contractual communications with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
- Administer NEC3 / NEC4 contracts in line with formal processes
- Handle and assess compensation events, variations, and EOT claims
- Ensure timely submission of early warnings and formal notices
- Support project teams with contractual advice and risk management
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of contractual decisions
- Assist in the resolution of claims and disputes
Requirements:
- Strong experience in contract & claims management within infrastructure or energy projects
- Proven hands‑on experience with NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts
- Demonstrable experience managing:
- Extension of Time (EOT) claims
- Variations and formal notices
- Good understanding of contract law in England & Wales
- Experience working in fast‑paced, complex project environments
- Background in renewable energy, utilities, or major infrastructure
- Commercial or Quantity Surveying background
