We are recruiting a safety leader to drive a positive safety culture at the Chirk Plant in North Wales, part of Mondelez’s largest cocoa processing site and Cadbury supply chain. Safety is our top priority and the role will lead the HS&E agenda, engage employees, and ensure compliance with Mondelez safety standards, legislation, and regulatory requirements.

• Develop annual Safety, Environment and Sustainability improvement plans for the site with sponsorship from the Plant Manager and HSE Cluster Director.
• Develop and implement the HS&E strategy and agenda for the site, through the Manufacturing Sections, and participate in management reviews.
• Coach and support the Factory Leadership Team at all levels in delivery of their local HS&E agenda.
• Lead the HS&E Specialist and provide strong support to the wider site.
• Implement Mondelez International Safety, Security and Environment Standards, ensuring best practices are adopted and standardized action plans are executed across the full site.
• Identify relevant Safety, Security and Environment training requirements, develop and deliver training packages to meet legal compliance and support Mondelez standards.
• Drive a safety culture through engagement and use of Integrated Lean 6 Sigma tools.

• Experience as a Health, Safety and Environment practitioner preferably within a manufacturing or commercial environment.
• Agile and flexible approach.
• Strong people‑management experience.
• Willingness to make a difference.
• Experience coaching individuals.
• Proven experience implementing cultural change in an HS&E context.
• Demonstrated experience managing a team, change management and project management.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with Health and Safety audit.
