Franchise Development Manager

North of England & Scotland
to £50,000 + Bonus

Are you passionate about helping businesses grow rather than selling to them? We are recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager to support an established network of franchisees across the North of England and Scotland.

This is not a direct sales role. You will act as a trusted business partner, helping franchisees improve commercial performance, strengthen operations and achieve sustainable growth.

Covering a territory from Sheffield to Scotland, you'll ideally be based in Manchester, Liverpool or the wider North West. Regular travel, including occasional overnight stays, is required.

The Role

Working closely with franchisees, you will provide commercial guidance, coaching and practical support to drive business performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support business owners to improve commercial and operational performance.
  • Analyse KPIs, financial performance and operational data to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop business improvement plans and support underperforming locations.
  • Coach and influence franchisees to achieve sustainable results.
  • Support new franchise launches and onboarding.
  • Work closely with Operations, Marketing and Finance teams.
  • Promote compliance, brand standards and best practice across the network.

The Person

We are keen to hear from candidates with experience in franchising or multi-site operations.

You will ideally have experience as a Business Development Manager, Franchise Consultant, Area Manager, Regional Manager or Operations Manager, along with:

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L responsibility.
  • Excellent coaching, relationship building and influencing skills.
  • Analytical thinking and a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • The ability to manage a large geographic territory independently.
  • A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation where you will play a key role in improving business performance and supporting the long term success of an established franchise network.
