We are recruiting for a Business Analyst to join a successful manufacturing business, playing a key role in supporting operational performance, driving efficiencies and helping the organisation make informed commercial decisions.

This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical and proactive individual who enjoys working closely with operational teams, understanding how a manufacturing business functions and identifying opportunities to improve performance and profitability.

• Produce and monitor the annual operations budget.
• Support department managers with budget setting and forecasting.
• Analyse operational costs and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Monitor labour productivity and report on operational performance.
• Review production costs across multiple manufacturing streams.
• Manage inventory analysis, stock reporting and variance investigations.
• Evaluate storage, logistics and packaging costs to identify savings opportunities.
• Conduct production loss and profitability analysis.
• Produce insightful reports and analysis for senior leadership and board presentations.
• Assist with KPI development and performance monitoring.
• Support the development and improvement of operational processes and procedures.

• Previous experience in a Business Analyst, Commercial Analyst, Finance Analyst or Management Accounting role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with in a manufacturing, production or operational environment would be advantageous.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large volumes of data.
• Experience of ERP or accounting systems.
• Ability to communicate financial and operational information to a range of stakeholders.
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
