37.5 hours per week The Opportunity Reed is working with a highly respected environmental consultancy to recruit a Health and Safety Assistant to join their established Health, Safety, Environment and Quality team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with recent Health & Safety experience who enjoys administration, organisation and supporting colleagues across a busy business. You'll work closely with experienced HSEQ professionals and gain exposure to a wide range of Health & Safety activities, making this an excellent role for someone looking to develop their long-term career within the sector.

Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the HSEQ team. Manage HSEQ inboxes and respond to day-to-day enquiries. Support accident, incident and near-miss reporting processes. Assist with risk assessments and Health & Safety documentation. Maintain HSEQ records, reports and spreadsheets. Coordinate meetings, take minutes and support project activities. Support audits, investigations and compliance initiatives. Work closely with teams across the business to promote safe working practices.

About You To be considered for this position, you will have:
Recent experience within a Health & Safety, HSEQ or compliance-related role. Strong administrative and organisational skills. Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail. The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Desirable IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.

Previous HSEQ administration experience. Experience supporting audits, risk assessments or incident reporting. Benefits Salary of £31,000 - £33,000. 5% employer pension contribution.
