Job Description & How to Apply Below

Help create life-changing experiences that build confidence, resilience and hope for Scotland's most vulnerable children.

At Honeypot, we believe every child deserves the chance to feel safe, valued and supported. As our Children's Services Coordinator, you will play a vital role in making that happen.

What You'll Be Doing

You’ll be at the heart of our services, coordinating residential breaks and wellbeing programmes for young carers and vulnerable children. From managing referrals to coordinating transport, you’ll ensure every programme runs smoothly from start to finish.

No two days will be the same. Your responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating the planning and delivery of respite breaks, wellbeing programmes and outreach services
  • Managing referrals, bookings and placements to ensure children receive the right support at the right time
  • Building positive relationships with families, referral partners and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining accurate records and producing reports to support decision-making
  • Supporting safeguarding, health and safety, and compliance processes
  • Coordinating communications, transport arrangements and programme logistics
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the service
What We're Looking For

We need someone who is organised, adaptable and confident working in a busy environment where priorities can change quickly. You’ll be a natural coordinator who enjoys solving problems and building relationships.

You will have:

  • Previous experience in an administration or coordination role, ideally within children's services, health, education, charity or community settings
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ideally database systems
  • The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • An understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and data protection principles
  • A full driving licence and access to your own transport
Why Join Honeypot?

This is more than an administration role. It’s an opportunity to make a genuine difference behind the scenes, helping ensure that children experiencing challenges can access safe, supportive experiences.

If you’re passionate about helping children thrive and enjoy bringing organisation and efficiency to a busy service,
join us and help make every child's opportunity count.
