Site Supervisor - Sub Station Extension Project

Job Title: Site Supervisor
Location: Pembroke
Rate: 35 per hour
Hours: Full-time
I am recruiting on behalf of a key contractor for a Site Supervisor to join a major power station extension project. This role involves overseeing civil works and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards on a high-profile energy infrastructure site.
Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate site operatives and subcontractors on civil works
• Manage daily site activities including earthworks, drainage, and ducting
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Conduct site inductions, Toolbox Talks, and daily briefings
• Prepare and implement Safe Systems of Work (SSoW)
• Maintain accurate site documentation including risk assessments and method statements
• Monitor progress and report on project milestones
• Liaise with contractors and project stakeholders to resolve issues promptly
• Carry out regular site inspections to maintain quality and safety standards

Qualifications & Experience:

• NSI 8 Full
• HS G47 (2 Day)
• SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
• 3-Day First Aid Certification
• Lift Supervisor or Slinger/Signaller
• Previous experience on a National Grid site
• Proven experience in earthworks, drainage, and ducting
