We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading main contractor on a £20m construction project. This is a long-term opportunity working on a 60‑week programme, starting on site on 9th February. The project is a large extension and newbuild project to a large industrial building. The building will remain live during the extension project.

• Setting out and engineering support for steel frame and groundworks packages
• Quality Assurance (QA) checks and inspections
• Checking and signing off subcontractors' works
• Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme
• Working closely with a directly employed site team, including the Project Manager (PM) and Site Manager (SM)
• Assisting with health & safety compliance on site

• Valid SMSTS
• First Aid certification
• CSCS card
• Proven experience working on steel frame and groundworks projects
• Previous experience working for a main contractor
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach
• Ability to work collaboratively within a site management team

• Long‑term role on a major £20m project
