Senior Quantity Surveyor

A great opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor is now available to join a well-established Main Contractor based in Tayside. You will be joining a company who have built an excellent reputation across the industry on a variety of construction projects over many successful years. This role would either suit a seasoned Senior Quantity Surveyor or an established Quantity Surveyor who is looking for the next step in their career.

Responsibilities:

• Measure, price, negotiate and agree budgets and costs for variations to project scope.
• Ensure every projects is delivered on time and within budget.
• Liaise with Commercial/ Project Management.
• Ensure accurate costs and resolve any issues when necessary.
• Produce and maintain up to date records.
• Visit sites.
• Analyse subcontractor quotations and compile subcontractor orders for approval.
• Act as a mentor for Junior Quantity Surveyors.
• Carry out forecasts and keep management teams up to date.

Education & Requirements:

• Hold a Degree in Quantity Surveying or related industry subject.
• Demonstrate experience within a Quantity Surveying role.
• Able to work in a team and individually.
• Have good communication skills.
