Site Manager

The Company

Our client is a well-established Main Contractor delivering high-quality construction projects across the Midlands. With a strong pipeline of work across commercial, industrial, education, and residential sectors, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their growing team in Birmingham.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of construction projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.

You will coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers while maintaining excellent communication with clients and senior management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations from inception to completion
• Manage subcontractors and site labour
• Ensure health & safety regulations are adhered to at all times
• Monitor project progress against programme deadlines
• Conduct site meetings and provide regular progress updates
• Ensure quality control and snagging processes are completed efficiently
• Coordinate deliveries, materials, and logistics on site
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Site Manager for a Main Contractor
• Experience delivering commercial or industrial construction projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage programmes and coordinate multiple trades
• SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid certificates essential
• Full UK Driving Licence
