Take the lead on Health & Safety across major highways projects with a Tier One highways contractor. You will be part of a growing delivery team working on large‑scale highways and infrastructure schemes, where your expertise directly influences site standards, workforce wellbeing and safe project delivery.

• Advising site and project teams on all Health & Safety matters across major highways projects.
• Carrying out site inspections, audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with HSG, CDM and company procedures.
• Supporting accident and near‑miss investigations while implementing corrective actions and lessons learned.
• Delivering toolbox talks, inductions and workforce briefings across active construction sites.
• Monitoring subcontractor compliance and promoting a proactive Health & Safety culture throughout project delivery.
• Working closely with operational teams to continuously improve Health & Safety performance across major highways projects.

• Proven experience within highways, infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
• A NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent qualification).
• Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and highways safety standards.
• Confidence communicating with site teams, subcontractors and management at all levels.
• A proactive and solutions‑focused approach to Health & Safety.

• Salary of GBP
  55,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
