The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will work closely with project teams to support cost and commercial management across multiple schemes. Responsibilities include building cost models, supporting procurement strategies, and contributing to contract administration processes. You will analyse project data, support decision‑making, and engage with clients and contractors throughout delivery. Additionally, the role involves managing valuations, variations and reporting, providing a well‑rounded and practical understanding of project finances.
Qualifications- 1‑3 years of experience within a consultancy or contractor environment.
- Solid grounding in core QS principles and an interest in modern construction methods or data‑driven delivery.
- Familiarity with NEC or JCT contracts is advantageous.
- A relevant degree is preferred, with desire to progress towards professional accreditation.
- Curiosity, proactivity and a comfort for working in a fast‑moving, evolving environment.
- £35,000 – 45,000 salary (depending on experience)
