Rate: £350 per day - Paid CIS via Umbrella Provider

Seeking an experienced HVAC Site Manager to lead the mechanical delivery of a £2m+ refurbishment project at a critical rail operational facility in Swindon. The project includes replacement of life‑expired HVAC plant, roof refurbishment works, and internal modifications, all while maintaining services to a live 24/7 operational building.

• Lead mechanical delivery of HVAC installations (chillers, AHUs, VRF systems)
• Coordinate mechanical subcontractors and specialist suppliers
• Oversee quality inspections, commissioning, and installation standards
• Support programme management and ensure works are delivered to schedule
• Maintain detailed site records and quality documentation
• Work closely with project management and operational teams
• Support weekend crane operations for plant removal and installation
• Ensure safe delivery within a live operational environment

• Previous experience as HVAC Site Manager, HVAC Supervisor or Mechanical Site Manager
• Strong background in HVAC installations including chillers, AHUs and VRF systems
• Experience managing mechanical subcontractors on infrastructure or commercial refurbishment projects

• Long‑term contract on a high‑profile infrastructure refurbishment project

• Five‑day site‑based role with excellent rail links, just a short walk from Swindon station
