A highly regarded property and construction consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its expanding Manchester team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and commercially minded project management professional to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects across the commercial real estate sector. Working alongside an established leadership team, you will play a key role in delivering complex developments while contributing to the continued growth of the Manchester office and wider North West presence.

The role offers exposure to a varied project pipeline, including commercial office fit-outs, industrial and logistics developments, residential schemes, fa ade remediation programmes, laboratory environments, retail projects, and high-specification amenity space refurbishments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing projects from inception through to completion, ensuring successful delivery against programme, budget, and quality objectives.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
  • Leading project meetings and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Preparing project programmes, reports, procurement strategies, and tender documentation.
  • Managing project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Monitoring project performance and providing regular updates to clients.
  • Supporting business development activities and helping to strengthen existing client relationships.
  • Identifying opportunities for repeat business and service expansion.
  • Contributing to the development and mentoring of junior team members.
  • Supporting the continued growth and success of the Manchester project management team.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in a construction, property, engineering, or project management-related discipline.
  • Proven experience delivering projects within a consultancy or client-side environment.
  • Strong experience across new-build, refurbishment, fit-out, and redevelopment projects.
  • Knowledge of commercial, industrial, residential, or mixed-use sectors.
  • Professional accreditation such as MRICS, MCIOB, APM, or working towards chartered status is desirable.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of the North West property and construction market would be advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence.
