Mechanical Supervisor

300- 350 per day (Outside IR35) Long-Term Contract - 12 months +

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a leading M&E contractor delivering a flagship commercial fit-out project in Central London.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile development, taking responsibility for the supervision of full mechanical building services packages, including HVAC, pipework, plant rooms and BMS installations. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving quality, safety, and programme performance throughout the project lifecycle.

• Supervise and coordinate all mechanical installation activities on site

• Oversee the delivery of full mechanical building services packages, including HVAC, pipework, plant rooms and BMS works

• Manage subcontractors and direct labour to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification

• Monitor daily progress and report updates to the Mechanical Site Manager and Project Team

• Ensure compliance with all health & safety procedures, RAMS, and site standards

• Conduct quality inspections and oversee snagging and defect resolution

• Coordinate labour, materials, plant, and logistics to maintain project momentum

• Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams

• Review drawings and technical information to ensure works are installed correctly

• Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and quality documentation

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on commercial fit-out or building services projects

• Strong technical knowledge of full mechanical building services packages, including HVAC, pipework, plant rooms and BMS installations

• SSSTS or SMSTS certification

• Valid CSCS Card

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Experience managing subcontractors on fast-paced commercial projects

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction programmes

• 300- 350 per day (Outside IR35)
