HGV Driver ​/ Suction Excavator Operator

Location: Swindon

As a Suction Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of suction excavation equipment across a range of construction and utility projects. You will work closely with site teams to ensure all works are completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism.

Requirements

Valid HGV Class 2 Licence
Current Driver CPC Card
Previous experience within the construction industry
Experience operating suction excavators (preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate)
Good understanding of health and safety procedures on construction sites
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, hardworking, and professional approach to work

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate suction excavation equipment on construction and utility projects
Conduct daily vehicle and equipment inspections and safety checks
Ensure full compliance with company and site health and safety requirements
Complete relevant documentation and reporting as required
