Groundworks Supervisor

Location: Chiseldon, Swindon, SN4 0HS

Pay: 25.00 per hour
Job Type: Temporary, long-term
Schedule: Monday to Friday

Lonsite is recruiting an experienced Groundworks Supervisor on a site near Swindon

Duties

  • Supervising ground workers, pipelayers and plant operators
  • Coordinating daily site activities and labour
  • Managing drainage, foundations, roads and external works
  • Ensuring work is completed safely and to programme
  • Reading and working from construction drawings
  • Conducting daily briefings and toolbox talks
  • Monitoring quality, productivity and health and safety
  • Liaising with site management and subcontractors
  • Completing site records and reporting progress

Requirements

  • Valid CSCS card
  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • Previous housing groundworks supervision experience
  • Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations and external works
  • Ability to read drawings and manage multiple gangs
  • First Aid preferred
  • Reliable and available for long-term work
  • Recent work references required
