Project Manager Required in London

We are working with a well-established specialist drylining contractor based in London, who are entering an exciting period of growth and are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to strengthen their delivery team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with a strong background in drylining to take ownership of high-profile, high-value projects while playing a key role in the continued growth of the business.

You will work closely with the senior management team, site teams, clients, main contractors and supply chain to ensure projects are delivered safely, commercially and to the highest possible standard.

Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

  • Taking full responsibility for the delivery of major drylining projects.
  • Managing project programmes, budgets, resources and procurement.
  • Leading and supporting site-based management teams.
  • Managing client and main contractor relationships.
  • Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and the wider supply chain.
  • Monitoring project performance, progress and commercial outcomes.
  • Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with programme, specification and quality requirements.
  • Identifying and managing project risks, variations and commercial opportunities.
  • Attending and leading project meetings.
  • Working closely with commercial and estimating teams to maximise project performance.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and quality are maintained.
  • Contributing to the continued development of the company's project delivery procedures and team.

The Project Manager must have/be:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within drylining, partitions, ceilings or specialist interiors.
  • Experience delivering high-rise or major construction projects.
  • A strong understanding of construction programmes, sequencing and project delivery.
  • Excellent client and main contractor relationship-management skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand project financial performance.
  • The confidence to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive approach with the drive to identify issues and resolve them before they become problems.
