Location: Wisley

We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Water Treatment Works Upgrade team based in Wisley STW, Surrey.

Location: Wisley STW, Surrey
Hours: 45 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a key role in the commercial management of an exciting Water Treatment Works Upgrade project. Working within a supportive and collaborative commercial team, you'll help ensure the successful delivery of this construction phase project, whilst developing your skills and contributing to innovative solutions.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the commercial team, supporting them in delivering the commercial management of the project. Your day to day will include:

  • Ensuring compliance with the project's procurement strategy, including subcontract inquiries and tender reviews
  • Managing valuations, project cashflows, and turnover forecasts, including monthly cost reports and progress records
  • Providing legal and contractual advice on orders and changes, handling notices and subcontractor administration
  • Driving commercial initiatives, producing margin improvement plans and supporting team members in maximizing opportunities
  • Leading and managing junior staff, ensuring workload targets, deadlines, and commercial tasks are met

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

  • You hold a relevant academic qualification in a Construction related degree
  • You hold a Full driving licence
  • You have demonstrable experience working in a Commercial role for a contractor, ideally with Civils exposure
  • You have experience with a variety of contract forms
  • You enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team
