* * We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee works on substation projects in the North of Scotland. This role is well-suited to professionals with a strong background in transmission and distribution who enjoy managing site activities and ensuring project success.
** Location and Working Pattern
** Dounreay, Scotland 11 days on, 3 off
** Client Overview
** Our client is a leading provider in the Transmission and Distribution sector, delivering projects that are key to maintaining and improving network infrastructure.
** Responsibilities
* ** Manage day-to-day site operations on substation projects
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
* Coordinate subcontractors and site personnel to maintain productivity
* Plan and monitor project schedules and milestones
* Maintain accurate site documentation and reporting
* Liaise with project teams to resolve technical or operational issues
* Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality standards are met
** Must-have Requirements
*** Valid SPEN authorisations for substation work
* SMSTS certification
* Proven experience managing substation projects
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
* Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders professionally
** Nice-to-have Skills
*** Experience with National Grid or DNO projects
* First Aid qualification
* Knowledge of CDM regulations
