Location: Dinas Powys
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Vehicle Service Advisor at their reputable franchise‑approved car dealership in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and professional Vehicle Service Advisor to join a well‑established dealership group with over 60 years of industry presence. The successful individual will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth workshop operations.
Benefits:- Basic salary of up to £29,500 per annum, dependent on experience
- On‑target earnings of approximately £35,000 per annum, based on customer service performance

- Liaise extensively with the workshop to monitor work in progress and update customers
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and service
- Up‑sell additional products and services where appropriate to maximise sales opportunities
- Allocate tasks efficiently to meet customer deadlines and maintain department productivity
- Maintain accurate and complete customer records using dealership management systems
- Support the Service Manager to uphold dealership standards and procedures
- Assist in managing customer appointments, ensuring all customer expectations are met or exceeded
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly, delivering a professional customer experience
- Maintain vehicle service records and ensure compliance with manufacturer standards
- Proven recent experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or in a similar automotive customer service role
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to handle a busy workload
- IT literacy, preferably with experience in Keyloop or similar dealership management systems
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships
- Full UK driving licence with minimal points
- Professional attitude and a proactive approach to work
- Ability to up‑sell additional services and promote dealership offerings effectively
