Location: Rhondda

Active Packaging are recruiting for an Internal Account Executive to join the customer support team.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of a busy customer support function, providing day‑to‑day support to a set list of customers and ensuring a consistently high standard of service.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working closely with customers, building strong relationships, and ensuring their needs are met efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, and detail‑oriented, with excellent communication skills.

Role & Responsibilities Customer Support & Relationship Management
  • Support a set list of customers, acting as a key point of contact for day‑to‑day queries.
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers.
  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries and provide solutions in a professional manner.
  • Always deliver a high level of customer service.
Customer Service Administration
  • Prepare quotes and related documentation for customers.
  • Follow up on customer queries and requests in a timely manner.
  • Support the smooth handling of day‑to‑day customer requirements.
  • Carry out regular service calls with key customers to check in and ensure satisfaction.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of customer service.
Operations & Coordination
  • Assist in resolving any customer issues, including quality‑related concerns.
  • Liaise with internal teams, to ensure customer requirements are delivered accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor orders and ensure timely communication with customers regarding progress.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Problem‑solving mindset with a proactive approach
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and business systems
  • Previous experience with SAP or Hubspot preferred but not essential
  • Team player with a positive and flexible attitude
