42 hours weekly (Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, with one early finish per week and Saturdays 8am to 2pm on a rota basis) - Salary: OTE up to £38,000 (uncapped) with a basic of £32,000 per annum
You will join our friendly Aftersales team as a Service Advisor, reporting to the Aftersales Manager. This role requires a team player with exceptional communication skills, the ability to build rapport with colleagues and customers, and the capacity to manage a high volume of customers, telephone calls, and online booking queries. Continuous training opportunities are provided through our in‑house brand development.
Responsibilities- Book MOTs, services and other repair work for customers.
- Advise customers about warranty cover and upsell additional parts or accessories that will benefit the customer.
- Liaise with the full Aftersales department to organise and schedule appointments based on workload and call volumes.
- Manage a high volume of customers daily, including telephone calls and online booking queries.
- Inform customers of turnaround times and ensure effective communication throughout the time when a customer’s car is in the workshop.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update the systems when any bookings have been made.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport easily.
- Ability to explain technical information in a clear and concise way.
- Previous experience using Kerridge or ADP would be an advantage, as well as knowledge of other essential dealer systems.
