We are currently recruiting for an Optical Call Centre Advisor to join a friendly and professional team in Brighton.

The Role

We are looking for a confident, friendly and customer-focused person to join an optical call centre team. You will be the first point of contact for patients and customers, providing excellent service and helping to ensure every enquiry is handled professionally.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Answering incoming calls from patients and customers
• Booking and arranging appointments
• Responding to customer queries and providing accurate information
• Making outbound calls where required
• Managing appointment changes and cancellations
• Updating customer and patient records accurately
• Liaising with optical practices and internal teams
• Providing a professional and friendly customer experience
• Handling a busy call environment while maintaining excellent service levels

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Confident and professional on the telephone
• Friendly, approachable and customer-focused
• Well organised with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a busy environment
• A strong communicator
• Computer literate and confident using different systems
• Reliable, positive and able to work well as part of a team

Previous optical experience is desirable but not essential. Experience with in a call centre, customer service, healthcare or appointment-booking environment would be highly beneficial.
