Service Advisor
Location:
Exeter
Salary: £32,600 per annum
Hours:
Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm or later shift options available, plus Saturdays mornings on rota
Join a busy commercial vehicle dealership as a Service Advisor, delivering excellent customer service while coordinating workshop bookings, repairs and vehicle handovers.
Key Responsibilities of a Service Advisor:
Booking customers and accurately recording vehicle faults
Managing workshop loading and raising job cards
Keeping customers updated on repair progress and completion times
Explaining repairs, service requirements and warranty information
Arranging payments, vehicle handovers and MOT inspections
Promoting aftersales services and service contracts
Skills and Qualifications for a Service Advisor
Essential
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong organisation and attention to detail
Ability to manage bookings and prioritise workloads
Professional approach to handling customer queries and payments
Desirable
Experience in a commercial vehicle dealership or workshop environment
Knowledge of vehicle servicing, repairs and MOT requirements
