We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Dentist to take on a unique dual clinical and leadership role within Aviemore Dental & Implant Clinic
, combining 2–3 days of clinical practice with dedicated time to lead, influence and help shape the future direction of the team.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on patient care with a meaningful leadership role within a well-established, highly respected dental practice in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.

With two clear pathways available, you can shape your role around how you want to lead and contribute — whether that is through clinical leadership, shared ownership, or both over time

Role Structure

Work 2–3 days per week clinically within the practice as an Associate Dentist

Dedicate approximately 4 hours per week to leadership responsibilities within the Practice Clinical Lead function

Combine hands-on dentistry with protected time to support team development, clinical standards, governance and practice performance

Help shape the future direction of a long-established practice with strong roots in the local community

Flexibility to shape your contribution depending on the pathway you choose and the needs of the practice

Practice Clinical Lead (PCL)

Step into a recognised clinical leadership role focused on care, standards and team development.

Work closely with the Practice Manager to drive performance and positive patient outcomes

Shape clinical standards, protocols and the patient journey

Support, mentor and develop the clinical team

Champion clinical governance, best practice and continuous improvement

Contribute to decision-making and the strategic direction of the practice

Help create a culture where clinicians can develop, collaborate and deliver consistently high-quality care

This option is ideal for clinicians who want to influence and lead without taking on an ownership stake.

About You

A GDC-registered dentist with strong clinical experience

Comfortable working collaboratively with the Practice Manager and wider team
