Our Brighton team prides itself on delivering high-quality private dentistry in a supportive, friendly, and forward-thinking environment. We are now seeking a proactive and organised lead Nurse to join our busy practice. This role combines clinical nursing duties with day-to-day administrative support to the Practice Manager, making it an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop into a leadership position.

Key Responsibilities Practice Management Support
  • Assist the Practice Manager with compliance for regulatory standards (CQC, GDC, HTM 01-05, GDPR), risk management, and quality assurance activities.
  • Support with stock control, and ordering of dental materials and consumables.
  • NB:
    Responsibilities are not exhaustive and are subject to change to meet the needs of the business.
Dental Nursing Duties
  • Provide chairside assistance to dentists and hygienists, maintaining cross-infection control to the highest standard.
  • Prepare, sterilise, and set up instruments and materials for each patient.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure smooth running of treatment sessions.
  • Support with clinical audits, stock checks, and laboratory liaison.
  • Comply with all GDC and CQC requirements and keep CPD up to date.
Essential Requirements
  • Qualified Dental Nurse with current GDC registration.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in dental nursing (NHS or mixed practice).
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of compliance and CQC standards.
  • Computer literate – experience with dental software (SOE Exact)
  • A positive, proactive approach and willingness to take on additional responsibility.
