Sphere Solutions is recruiting on behalf of an established building, fit-out, and refurbishment contractor specialising in high-technology, high-specification projects across the Swindon and Oxford region.

We are seeking an experienced Architect to join the design and delivery team, working on complex fit-out, refurbishment, and high-tech building projects
. This role is ideal for a creative, client-focused professional who enjoys collaborating closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions
.

• Develop design concepts, detailed drawings, and technical specifications for fit-out and refurbishment projects
• Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure designs meet project requirements
• Produce architectural documentation for tendering, planning approvals, and construction
• Conduct site visits to monitor design implementation and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards
• Advise on materials, finishes, and innovative solutions to meet client brief and budget
• Ensure designs comply with building regulations, planning, and Health & Safety standards

• Qualified Architect (RIBA Part III) with proven experience in fit-out, refurbishment, or high-spec building projects
• Strong technical knowledge of architectural design, construction methods, and detailing
• Experience preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and BIM models
  
  Excellent client liaison and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of building regulations, CDM, and Health & Safety requirements
