An award-winning architectural practice is seeking a talented Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join its growing Cardiff studio. The role:
Assisting with the development of projects across a range of RIBA work stages
Producing design proposals, planning drawings, and presentation materials
Preparing planning applications, Design & Access Statements, and supporting documentation
Working closely with Architects, Technologists, and external consultants
Developing technical drawing packages and construction information
Attending project meetings and assisting with client liaison
Supporting project delivery while ensuring design quality and compliance standards are maintained
Contributing creative ideas and innovative design solutions throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements for the Part 2 Architectural Assistant role:
RIBA Part 2 qualification in Architecture
Experience working within a UK architectural practice
Strong design and presentation skills with a creative portfolio
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketch Up is advantageous
Good understanding of UK planning policy and Building Regulations
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to progress towards professional qualification
