Senior Landscape Architect / Landscape Designer | Brighton, Hove Landscape Architecture | Hove, East Sussex | Salary DOE | Vectorworks Landmark & Sketch Up | Hybrid Working – 2 Days WFH

Senior Landscape Architect / Landscape Designer required by an award-winning landscape architecture and garden design practice renowned for delivering exceptional private residential gardens, public landscapes and horticultural projects across the UK. As the studio continues to grow, they’re looking to appoint an experienced designer to lead projects from concept through to completion while helping shape the future of the practice.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, design-led studio working on a diverse portfolio including exceptional private estates, Paragraph 84 projects, National Trust commissions and public realm schemes, with genuine influence over both projects and practice growth.

The Role

You’ll lead landscape projects from concept through to construction, managing client relationships, coordinating consultants and mentoring junior team members. Working closely with the Practice Principal, you’ll combine creative design thinking with strong technical delivery across a wide variety of landscape projects.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Leading landscape architecture and garden design projects from concept through to completion
  • Producing design drawings, planting plans, specifications and technical information
  • Managing client, consultant and contractor relationships
  • Leading presentations, meetings and site visits
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary teams throughout project delivery
  • Mentoring junior designers and supporting studio development
What They’re Looking For
  • Minimum five years’ professional experience in Landscape Architecture or Landscape Design
  • Strong conceptual, technical and project management skills
  • Extensive knowledge of planting, materials and landscape construction
  • Excellent communication and client-facing experience
  • Proficiency in Vectorworks Landmark and Sketch Up is essential
  • Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and Google Workspace experience is advantageous
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for site visits
