Take command of elite healthcare as a UHNW Chief Medical Officer on a luxury superyacht. Enjoy total clinical autonomy, a £240,000 GBP tax‑free salary, and sail the Mediterranean.

An exclusive opportunity is currently available for a highly discreet and autonomous senior physician to assume the mantle of Chief Medical Officer aboard a private, ultra‑luxury yacht. Catering exclusively to an ultra‑high‑net‑worth (UHNW) family and their guests, this permanent, full‑time role demands unparalleled clinical leadership. You will architect and execute all healthcare protocols, ensuring absolute privacy and bespoke care away from the rigid structures of traditional medicine.

Your floating jurisdiction will encompass prime anchorages across the Mediterranean, including the Greek Islands, Italy, Monaco, Marbella, Ibiza, Mallorca, and the Algarve. This position is expertly tailored for a medical professional who thrives in an independent, highly confidential setting and is ready to take absolute ownership of patient wellbeing in a prestigious maritime environment.

Responsibilities
  • Architect and execute all healthcare protocols aboard the vessel.
  • Ensure absolute privacy and bespoke care for patients.
  • Coordinate with the international crew on all medical matters.
  • Manage patient wellbeing and health emergencies while cruising.
Requirements
  • Demographic & Academic: This position is strictly reserved for Western practitioners holding a validated medical doctorate from a recognized university in the UK, Ireland, Europe, the USA, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.
  • Experience Level: Candidates must possess a verified minimum of five years of continuous, active clinical work immediately following the acquisition of their specialist qualification.
  • Clinical Domain: Documented expertise or official board certification specific to Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice is required.
  • Communication Mastery: Uncompromising, 100% fluency in the English language is mandatory to facilitate highly sensitive, confidential medical consultations and coordinate with the international crew.
  • Compensation: A highly superior, entirely tax‑free annual remuneration of £240,000 GBP.
  • Contractual Status: A secure, permanent, and full‑time engagement.
  • Leave Allocation: 30 days of fully remunerated vacation time per year to ensure adequate rest.
  • Onboard Residency: Complimentary, premium private living quarters located directly on the vessel.
  • Healthcare & Liability: Elite international private health insurance along with total medical malpractice liability protection.
  • Travel Logistics: 100% financial coverage for all employment‑associated travel and flights, inclusive of dedicated administrative support for visa processing.
