Cookley. Part of a fantastic local network delivering many successful services ARRS physiotherapists,pharmacists, social prescribers and care home team.
We have astrong teaching ethos, teaching medical students, trainee registrars and nursing students. There is a great opportunity for the right candidate to take on a new medical student teaching group or to expand our current GP trainer team to three.
Clinicians are encouraged to develop areas of expertise, we have GPs with an interest in Dermatology,Womens health, ENT and Musculoskeletal medicine.
Diabetes service covering both initiation and maintenance.
Anticoagulation services, Minor Surgery and LARC services.

Job responsibilities- Compling with all legislation applicable to practising medicine
- Conducting physical examinations, tests or procedures to diagnose patients
- Maintaining accurate medical records for all patients
- Making recommendations for lifestyle changes to improve the patients quality of life
- Prescribing medication, treatment or therapy to patients
- Explaining test results and medical procedures to patients
- Consulting with other Doctors about the specialised needs of some patients
- Primary medical qualification (e.g. MBBS, MBChB or equivalent recognised by the GMC).
- Completion of GP specialty training and award of CCT in General Practice (or recognised equivalent route such as CESR/Portfolio Pathway leading to GP Register entry)
- Included on the England Medical Performers List (EMPL), maintained by NHS England under section 91 of the NHS Act 2006
- Be fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC
