Job Title
Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist – Special Interest in Oncology
Location
Ayrshire Maternity Unit, University Hospital Crosshouse, Kilmarnock.
Hours
40 hours per week (full-time). From 1 April 2026, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change staff in Scotland will reduce to 36 hours pro‑rata for part‑time staff without loss of earnings.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological services to women across Ayrshire.
- Provide specialist input in gynaecological oncology.
- Participate fully in clinical governance, teaching, audit and service development.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues across maternity, gynaecology, oncology and wider women’s health services.
- Participate in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology out‑of‑hours rota.
Essential Requirements
- Appropriate specialist training and experience in obstetrics, gynaecology and oncology.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to demonstrate right to work in the United Kingdom.
