Service Foundation Year 2 Doctor

We are currently recruiting for a Fixed Term Appointment for Service Foundation Year 2 Doctor to join the University Hospital of Wales & University Hospital Llandough., You will be able to find a full Job description and Person Specification attached within the supporting documents.
The successful candidates may take part in a full shift on call rota (on call banded) if post requires, and it is essential that applicants must be familiar with the UK healthcare system. You will need to have full GMC Registration with a licence to practice to be considered for this role . Computer literacy and a good standard of written and spoken English are both essential.,

• MBBS or Equivalent
• GMC registration, The applicant must be familiar with and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the major principles of the GMC's Outcomes for Graduates (2018), The applicant must demonstrate: oAn understanding of the GMC's Good Medical Practice (2024) , including: o Knowledge, skills and development o Patients, partnership and communication o Colleagues, culture and safety o Trust and professionalism oan understanding of the importance of the patient as the central focus of care othe ability to prioritise tasks and information and take appropriate decisions oan understanding of the importance of working effectively with others othe ability to communicate effectively with both colleagues and patients oinitiative and the ability to deal effectively with pressure and/or challenge ocommitment to learning and continued professional development oself-awareness and insight into the boundaries of their own abilities oan understanding of the principles of equality and diversity
• The applicant must demonstrate appropriate professional behaviour, i.e., integrity, honesty, confidentiality as set out in the GMC's Good Medical Practice (2024)
