Role: Lecturers to teach across undergraduate levels in the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Flexibility required for weekday, evening and weekend teaching.
What You'll Be DoingDeliver management related modules, develop and deliver comprehensive course materials, assess students, and stay up‑to‑date with field developments and student support practices.
Responsibilities- Plan, deliver, and assess student work, ensuring learning outcomes are met.
- Develop, update, and improve course materials.
- Use a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials.
- Engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties.
- Keep up to date with latest field developments and student support practices.
- Work towards defined objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression.
- Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable).
- Have previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter.
- Have experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
- Maintain accurate reporting and organized student records.
- Work under pressure, plan and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills.
- Work with diverse groups of people.
- Hold a Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification, or commit to enrol on a teaching programme during the probationary period and complete within three years; or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent).
