GSL Education London Branch are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Drama Teacher to work at a welcoming coeducational secondary school in Newham. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Drama Teacher to inspire students, build confidence, and bring learning to life through performance and creativity. As a Drama Teacher, you will join a supportive school community that values the arts and encourages student expression. The school is looking for a Drama Teacher who can engage learners of all abilities and deliver fun, structured, and inspiring lessons. This role is ideal for a committed Drama Teacher who is ready to start in January 2026.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons across Key Stages

Inspire students to develop confidence, creativity, and performance skills

Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear feedback

Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

Support school productions, performances, and extracurricular activities

Work closely with other staff to support student development

Requirements:

Qualified Drama Teacher or relevant teaching qualification

Experience teaching Drama in a secondary school setting

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Passion for Drama and the performing arts

Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities

Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
