Role Description and Criteria

Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • be committed to the ethos and values of Catholic education (accreditation to teach Religious Education highly desirable)

  • demonstrate a broad understanding of how to differentiate learning opportunities in order to cater for the full spectrum of student learning and wellbeing needs
  • demonstrate understanding of how to cater for students with diverse learning needs, including ASD and language disorders
  • implement Integrated Inquiry Learning informed by student voice
  • commit to the philosophies of positive behaviour for learning and restorative justice
  • be open to ongoing learning and development
  • be enthusiastic, motivated and team orientated
  • go the extra mile for children and their families
  • work in partnership with families and the broader community
  • put social justice into action
