Radio City School is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join our Education team. We are looking for a versatile, resilient and committed candidate who can adapt their practice wherever necessary to support our pupils. The successful candidate will work alongside our teaching team, assisting pupils with their work and supporting them with emotional regulation while establishing good relationships, acting as a role‑model and responding to individual needs.

- Support the teaching team to ensure that the learning environment is appropriate, safe, and engaging.
- Support the teaching team in the delivery of learning and teaching activities as directed by the class teacher.
- Promote positive behaviour in line with school policies and local procedures.
- Assist with the day‑to‑day care and management of children and young people including safeguarding.
- Work cooperatively with school staff and other agencies to identify and address additional support needs.
- Contribute to the planning for individual pupils through Wellbeing Action Plans.
- Undertake appropriate and agreed continuous professional development.
- Undertake any other duties relevant to the role of Teaching Assistant.
- Experience of working with children and young people with additional support needs and their families.
- Previous experience of working in an education setting would be desirable but is not essential.
The post will be predominantly based within Radio City School, with potential travel to other locations in line with the duties of the post. A full driving licence would be beneficial but is not essential.
