Drama Teacher – Alsager – Maternity Cover Contract – January Start – Fixed-Term Contract

Academics are working with a high-performing Secondary School in Alsager who require an ambitious and engaging Drama Teacher to join them on a fixed-term contract to cover a maternity leave.

This is a full-time position, running from January 2026 to July 2026, with the potential to extend to December 2026 for the right candidate. The school has also said that they will consider an English Teacher that can cover Drama.

• Plan and deliver engaging drama lessons at KS3 and KS4 in line with the UK National Curriculum
• Create a positive and creative learning environment, enabling students to achieve their full potential
• Contribute to extracurricular activities within the drama department (e.g., drama clubs, school productions)
• Track and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related subject
• Experience teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4
• A passion and enthusiasm for performing arts, encouraging students to be ambitious and achieve their full creative potential
• Valid, enhanced DBS (can be processed through us)

• Competitive daily rates of £150-£230, paid to you weekly (dependent on experience)
