Job DescriptionWe are seeking a permanent School & Pupil Support Assistant to join our Pupil Support team in Carnoustie High School. The role focuses on the direct delivery of front‑line services during the school day, with most time spent supporting pupils and teachers. The successful candidate may be required to access a council location during the week for occasional duties.

Responsibilities and Requirements- Provide support to pupils and teachers as part of the Pupil Support team.
- Follow Workstyle 1 – Fixed schedule; most time spent delivering front‑line services.
- Comply with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007; required to join the PVG Scheme or obtain an update check, and provide an Overseas Criminal Record Check if applicable.
- Pass all pre‑employment checks prior to receiving an unconditional offer.
- Discuss flexible working patterns and available flexibility during the recruitment process.
Salary range reflects the initial starting salary and increases annually until it reaches the top of the scale.
