Art Teacher – Department in Brighton

A dynamic and innovative secondary school in Brighton is looking to appoint a dedicated Art Teacher to join their successful Art department from January 2026. This is a full-time permanent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about nurturing creativity and developing student talent in the Arts.

• Full-time permanent Art Teacher position starting January 2026
• Secondary school in Brighton with a strong reputation for creative subjects
• Teach Art across KS3-KS5 including GCSE and A-Level classes

• Qualified Art Teacher with QTS (PGCE or equivalent)
• Strong subject knowledge across fine art, textiles, photography and digital media
• Experience in preparing students for examinations and supporting portfolio development
• Enthusiasm for enrichment including art clubs, gallery visits and student showcases
• Effective classroom management and high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a collaborative approach to teaching and planning
• Legal right to work in the UK
