Position: Breakfast and After School Club assistant (Temporary)
Location: Gedling

This role is ideal for individuals who are looking to pivot into a career within childcare or education, or those seeking flexible work that fits around other commitments while gaining valuable school based experience.

The successful candidate will support children before and after the school day, helping to create a safe, engaging and positive environment through fun, creative and structured activities.

Working hours
Breakfast Club typically 7.00am to 9.00am
After school Club 3.00pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday
Hours will be confirmed on the day depending on school requirements

What we are looking for

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Level 2 education qualification or higher

• Experience working with primary aged children

• A warm, kind and caring approach

• Excellent communication and listening skills

• An understanding of individual children’s needs

• The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff

• Flexibility to take same day bookings Monday to Friday

• A genuine passion for supporting and inspiring young children
