Monarch Education is recruiting a Full-Time English Teacher for a secondary school in Birmingham

We are partnering with a secondary school in Birmingham to appoint a qualified English Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 5 depending on experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the national curriculum for English
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the English curriculum

Essential requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school setting
• Knowledge of the UK secondary school curriculum for English
