Music Teacher

A unique opportunity has arisen for a talented and motivated Music Teacher to join a well-established military school in Dunblane. We are looking for an engaging and skilled practitioner who can deliver high-quality music education and inspire pupils across a range of abilities.

• Teach Music across relevant year groups in line with Curriculum for Excellence
• Plan, prepare, and assess high-quality lessons that engage and motivate learners
• Support the musical development of pupils through classroom teaching and extracurricular activities
• Lead or assist with school ensembles, choirs, or performances where appropriate
• Contribute to departmental planning and the wider school community

• GTCS registration (General Teaching Council for Scotland)
• Relevant experience teaching Music in a school environment
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach both practical and theoretical music
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people

• Experience working within a military, boarding, or structured school setting
• Ability to lead musical productions, concerts, or ensembles
• Willingness to be involved in wider school events and activities
