Learning & Development Manager - Coupar Angus

We are looking for a hands‑on Learning & Development Manager to lead and deliver training across a fast‑paced manufacturing site. You will ensure colleagues at all levels—from new starters to managers—are trained, compliant, and developed, while supporting continuous improvement and operational readiness.

• Deliver training on inductions, food safety (HACCP/TACCP), management & leadership, and wellbeing
• Lead and support a team of site trainers, stepping in to deliver when needed
• Manage SVQs, apprenticeships, and external training providers
• Oversee forklift and specialist training (slaughter licence awareness)
• Maintain training records and track learner progress

• Hands‑on L&D experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or engineering
• Confident delivering training at all levels, including management
• Experience managing and developing training teams
• Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
