Head of Design Technology (Food Technology) | Inner London An Outstanding-rated secondary academy in South London is launching an exciting new Design Technology department , with Food Technology at its heart - and is seeking an ambitious Head of Design Technology to lead this project from the ground up. A September start is planned, although earlier starts can be accommodated for the right candidate. Following a recent Outstanding Ofsted judgement across all areas , the school is recognised for its strong culture, exceptional behaviour, and inclusive values-driven ethos. Leaders are committed to investing in high-quality curriculum design and empowering subject specialists to innovate and lead. Initially, this role will suit someone confident working independently , who enjoys building systems, curriculum, and resources from scratch.

You will have the freedom to design an ambitious Food Technology curriculum, establish high standards of teaching and learning, and lay the foundations for a department that is expected to grow over the coming years , with scope to build and lead a team. This role would suit:
