Maths Teacher Specification
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and ambitious Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Birmingham with an immediate start available.
The successful candidate will be fully committed to the role and to becoming an integral part of the school community. This is not a short-term cover position - the school is seeking someone who will fully embed themselves within the department and essentially become part of the permanent team.
You will be responsible for teaching Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential), delivering high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
Essential Requirements:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent
- Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Commitment to full teaching responsibilities including planning and marking
- Safeguarding Level 1 trained (support available if required)
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
