Overview

Teacher of French – Modern Foreign Languages Department, Haileybury. Permanent, Full time.

Commencing:
September 2026. Closing date: 26 February 2026 at 12 noon.

• Teach French to pupils in Year 7 through Sixth Form, covering GCSE, A Level, IB, DELF B1 and B2 qualifications.
• Deliver a curriculum that includes linguistics, history, politics and culture of France.
• Organise and lead extracurricular activities such as French debating club, society events, and field trips to France (including a year‑long trip to Normandy for Year
  8).
• Collaborate with colleagues within the Modern Foreign Languages Department to enhance intercultural and linguistic understanding.

• Degree level education.
• Experience teaching French at the secondary school level (preferred).
• Ability to teach a second language is advantageous but not essential.
