We are looking to expand our pool of enthusiastic teachers with a genuine passion for young people’s education to work in the classroom at our partner schools in Llanfyllin and surrounding areas.

As part of our supply teaching team, you will cover staff absences, delivering set work whilst maintaining the everyday running of the classroom. While there is no guarantee of minimum hours, longer-term opportunities may arise. Flexibility is key, as you may be assigned to different year groups across the school.

Responsibilities of a Secondary Teacher:

• Deliver and provide opportunities for students to learn and express themselves.
• Ensure that students are engaged, motivated and on task.
• Manage any behaviour issues that may arise.
• Follow school policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress.

Requirements of a Secondary Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to manage behaviour effectively
• A positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate
• Flexibility and adaptability

Registrations required to be a Secondary Teacher:

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, but if you do not have one, you can apply for a new one through Educate.
• Notes:
• All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK, as we cannot offer a work permit to any applicant or facilitate work permits for any vacancy on behalf of one of its clients.
• We are a member of the REC (Recruitment & Employment Confederation).
